Lucy's Car

One sunny morning, a curiouslittle girl named Lucy went for a walk. She saw her friend, Tom, playing with his toy car. The car was red and shiny. “Tom, look at my car!” said Lucy. “It is very cool.” Tom looked at the car and smiled. “Yes, it’s so pretty,” he replied.

They played together, pushing the car on the grass, laughing and having fun. As they were playing, a big dog came running towards them. The dog saw the red shiny car in Lucy’s hand. It wanted to play too!

So, the dog jumped up and grabbed the car with its mouth. Tom was scared because he didn’t want his car to get stuck. “Oh no!” cried Lucy. She tried to save her car from the big dog, but it was too late.

The shiny red car had become very dirty. Tom was sad, and so was Lucy. They both went home with a sad face. From that day on, they knew not to play with dangerous things like cars and other toys.
