The Voice

On top of a hill, there was asmall, shiny pin. It had been sitting on the ground all day and he wanted to explore it. So he walked down the hill, to the end of his path. When he got there, he saw that it had all sorts of things inside!

There were slimy snakes and lots of bright colors. He was so excited to find out what was in the pin. The boy reached out to touch one of the shiny pins. Suddenly, a loud noise made him jump back.

It scared him. He looked around, but he couldn’t see anyone. He started to cry. Then, a voice said: “Don’t worry little one, I can help you!” The boy was so happy that the voice wanted to help him.

So the voice took out a tiny piece of jewelry from its pocket and gave it to the boy. The boy smiled and thanked the voice. Then he ran back down the hill with his pin again!
