Tim's Ball

One sunny morning, a curiouslittle cat named Tim saw a big red ball. He wanted to play with it. But the ball was near the street.

Tim tried to resist running after the ball. Tim’s friend, Sam, came by and saw the ball too. “I can help you get the ball,” said Sam. “But I have an opinion that we should not go near the street.” Tim thought about it and agreed. They both walked slowly towards the ball. As they got closer, a big dog named Max came out of nowhere.

Tim and Sam were scared. Max saw them and wanted to play with the red ball too. He ran fast towards them. “Don’t worry,” said Sam. “This is my new friend!” Tim, Sam, and Max all played together. They had lots of fun and forgot about going near the street.

From that day on, they always shared their toys and never went near the street again.
