Tim's Kids

One sunny morning, a curiouslittle boy named Tim went to the park. He saw many kids playing and having fun. Tim wanted to join them but he did not have any equipment to play with. Tim asked his mom, “Can I go play with the other kids?” His mom looked at him and said, “Yes, but you must be careful.” Tim was very happy and ran to meet the new kid. The kids welcomed Tim and they all played together.

They were very noisy, making lots of noise. But then, a big dog came running towards them. The kids got scared and started to run away from the park. Tim had an idea.

He picked up a stick and used it to strike the dog on his head. To everyone’s surprise, the dog stopped barking and became quiet. “Good job!” said one kid at the other, “You are very brave.” The kids felt proud and played happily together for the rest of the day.
